From: "Magoo" <Magoo44@charter.net>
I know for me, having spent 30 years working at crossing Hubbard's "Bridge
to Total Enslavement" (He said "Freedom"),
Once on the other side, realizing it was a Bridge to No where.
Then what?
It's quite a frustrating, seriously sad condition to find yourself in.
There were few people, actually none, I could speak with about it, as that's
grilled way in, early on, that one NEVER talks about "Their Case"
(Any upsets re Scientology, serious ones that is) with anyone, but a trained
person.
Pretty slick, really.
This is how slick it is: IF any Auditors (counselors) read what I just
wrote, their first inclination, actually their certainty would be not that
the "Bridge" was broken, or that ANY of what I said might be a
fact. They would be *sure* I needed fixing/correcting/ "Review".
Now in "Review", one is getting fixed. Did you have a
misunderstood word? Did you begin the auditing (counseling) with an
upset not spoken? (Thus Hubbard said the auditing wouldn't work, as
your attention would be elsewhere).
Did you reach the end, not say so, and thus "Overrun it"?
Are you hiding a secret?
Did you harm a Sea Org member?
Have you had bad thoughts about L. Ron Hubbard, DM, RTC< etc.
Did you steal any of the Confidential materials? (True question, asked all
the time to OT 7's!)
These questions go on and on and on!
There are literally pages and pages of questions one is asked in review,
until finally ''they why" is found, and indicated, thus bringing
one back to being a happy Scientologist.
Bottom line, what about when you REALLY realize this "Bridge"
is a bridge only to enslavement, or at the least, not a bridge to total
freedom as claimed?
For me, it happened on-line, so I had Andreas to talk with. He helped me
greatly.
Another great place to go, is Operation Clambake Message board.
Another is to read the Web sites on the Internet, which will help you learn
facts that have been hidden from you.
IF you've actually woken up and want to leave, do it. As has come up (In
court, no less), "No one is locked in Scientology, not even the RPF.
They can walk out any time".
See how they say it, now that one is actually out, and they don't want to
look like some weirdo group?
Most people have families who would love to have you back, free from this
organization. If you can, call your family. Call some old friends, there are
people who will help you, if you would like to leave.
Call me!
Remember, Hubbard's final PL was:
The Way OUT IS The Nearest Door!
** Hey! HE took it, why not you?**
My very best to all,
