Daily I speak with people who thank me for speaking out, and many say they wish they could, but "I'm afraid for my family", or "I don't want to lose all of my friends", etc. Like I (or anyone else who does speak out) do? Come on, friends. This organization is running totalitarian programs on you. They are slowly chipping away at your very freedoms many men fought long and hard for, and even lost their lives fighting for you to have.

I know many people do speak out...and I thank each one of you. I only wish many more would. I understand totally why people don't. I only think:

IF people could go back to when the Nazi Youth began to take over, and people quivered inside, afraid for their families, and their businesses, etc. Would these people who won't speak out now, about C of S and their abuses---would they stand up and speak, IF they could?

I just wonder about that. I know people will rant that it is different. I ask: Is it? When an organization is running totalitarian acts against you, to the point where you are in fear to speak out...what is that?

Think about it: A LOT of great men died for our rights to have Free Speech.

Don't we owe it to them to make sure these same rights are not F***D with by an organization hiding behind the cloak of religion, while running these same abuses on people who in any way disagree with them?

To those unwilling to speak, think about it, please. IF everyone spoke up who KNOWS of these abuses, C of S would HAVE to stop them, or at least change them quite a bit.

What will your future hold? Scientology (C of S) just sent out 650,000 booklets in Europe, and has opened a "Human Rights" Museum in Europe..with what as a solution? "Way to Happiness" and "The Third Party Law". If you haven't noticed, the organization using "Third party" the most is C of S, breaking up families, and spreading lies and Black PR! That is third party, in action! Ask one family who has lost a child or husband or wife, was the action of "Third Party" used against them? Of course it was!

The organization known as the Church of Scientology and Human rights go together about as much as oil and chocolate!

They are actively working to get "in" many areas. Don't for a second think this is "no big deal" or it won't effect you later.

Think of some of the greatest men in history (and women) who have spent their lives fighting for your freedoms. Don't you own it to many others to ensure these same rights are protected?

This organization (C of S) IS whittling away at these very rights, as I type. The only people who really understand it are the X-Scientologists, the critics, and you all who are too afraid to speak out.

I just spoke with a journalist who told me,

"We have TONS of reports from X-members about this insidious action we are reporting on. However, since NONE of them will put their names to their quotes, we cannot use what they've said".

(And don't try to take that as a "Win", OSA---it only worked against you, as usual, as you proved what a totalitarian organization you really are to these reporters!) We worked it out...however, I mention it to show people just one effect the allowing this Free speech to be overridden by Fear has. There are tons more, obviously.

I understand comfort, I understand wanting your families. Believe me, as someone who lost ALL of her 30-year-old friends, and my marriage of 27 years, I do understand. However, would I do it the same again? I would, for the reasons mentioned here. All I have to do is think about Madison and those who assisted in making laws re our right to free speech, to decide what is the correct action to take.

Here is what was said, just to remind you:

" Adoption and the Common Law Background

Madison's version of the speech and press clauses, introduced in the House of Representatives on June 8, 1789, provided: ''The people shall not be deprived or abridged of their right to speak, to write, or to publish their sentiments; and the freedom of the press, as one of the great bulwarks of liberty, shall be inviolable.''1 The special committee rewrote the language to some extent, adding other provisions from Madison's draft, to make it read: ''The freedom of speech and of the press, and the right of the people peaceably to assemble and consult for their common good, and to apply to the Government for redress of grievances, shall not be infringed.''2 In this form it went to the Senate, which rewrote it to read: ''That Congress shall make no law abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press, or the right of the people peaceably to assemble and consult for their common good, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.''3 Subsequently, the religion clauses and these clauses were combined by the Senate.4 The final language was agreed upon in conference.

That was in 1789. I wish each of you well. I wish each of you strength, and courage to help each person exposing the C of S's actions to whittle away at your rights. Remember this: There are tons of things you can do to expose this group, without speaking out publicly. Here are just a few things people have suggested to me that others can do, without being public:

-Speak to your friends who don't know what is really going on, so when they read about these abuses, it won't seem so unreal.

-Go speak to your local church minister, telling them of "the other side of Scientology, and give them Web pages to learn on their own. (Most are very receptive to knowledge).

-Pass out cards with Web sites on them, to kids, so they can get educated on both sides, and won't just get sucked in, without knowing the full picture

-Join your local Chamber of Commerce. I was surprised to find there were members of C of S in each of them here in LA, working the lines fully, hiding of course.

-Tell business people you know about the WISE con.

-Write to your congressmen asking that they look into these abuses

-Study the Web sites so you learn more of what is actually going on.

Offer support to those speaking out. Be pro-active. Those are just a few of the skillions of things you can do, if you want to stay under the radar screen, but still doing things to be effective.
