Have you been harmed by the organization known as the "Church"
of Scientology?
I'd like to know -- you can e-mail me with your story.
I'm gathering some information for a specific project.
Best is when, where, how, key players in it, and what happened because of it.
I'll start:
Was I harmed? Yes, while "in" and while "out".
1) was they insisting I get off of my medication for Epilepsy.
That's one of many abuses pulled by this "Church">
When? 1972. Where? The Sea Org, MLO: Medical Liaison Officer -- a
totally medically untrained Sea Org Member.
Who all was involved? This MLO, the Sea Org, and supposedly,
L. Ron Hubbard.
What happened? I was routed out of the Sea Org with a "Program"
I was to follow, of cutting down my medication, a bit by bit. I began
having Grand Mal Seizures. They insisted
a) It was my fault -- I was creating these seizures.
b) I needed to get off of my medication, take tons of vits and minerals
and CAL-MAG and auditing, and then I'd be OK to return.
c) As I got worse and worse, being found on the floor in their
"Churches"--- out in the street unconscious --- in my shower,
having knocked out my front teeth -- they continued to insist *I* needed
to "Handle this" take responsibility for it, that I was
basically a degraded being if I couldn't.
d) My Mother, bless her soul, kept insisting Dianetics WASN'T going to fix
this, that these people were going to kill me and that I MUST get back
on my medication.
e) Scientology showed me the Policy to "Prove" she was an SP,
that the cause of Epilepsy was my Mom, and I needed to either disconnect
from her, or do "good roads, fair weather". (Always just talk
about "nice" things, nothing really personal).
f) I chose Good Roads...and kept trying.
g) I was given a "Free Loaders Debt" of many thousands of
dollars for abandoning the Sea org.
h) I told these dickey chicks at FOLO WUS that they were FULL OF SHIT
-- that THEY had broken *my* contract, and if need by -- I'd go to
court and prove it. I told them I knew *one* man who was sane, and
that was the ONLY person I would talk to: L. Ron Hubbard.
I wanted a pencil and a piece of paper to write to him.
i) I wrote to Hubbard and supposedly he wrote back. He told me I
was correct, I didn't owe that "Freeloaders Bill"
that I only owed for the 2 courses I'd taken, to pay that, get auditing
in the HGC, and "We'll see you up the line".
That letter kept me in Scientology for 30 years!
j) I went back on my medication.Thanks to my Mother and Dr. Denk, and
stopped having any seizures back in the early '70's. However, Scientology
continued to harass me with "The Tech" until the day I left,
and they continue to slime me here on the Net about it, on occasion
-- which grosses out many people.
My greatest thanks to all of you who continue to post the facts about this
cult, pretending to be a church. They are not a church, in my eyes, and
just one of their many abuses ARE medical abuses such as mine.
If you've been harmed by Scientology, either as a member, or as a critic,
please share your story. We are not victims as they'd love to claim we are
survivors, and they hate that! My congratulations to each and every person,
media, organization and family who has survived the wrath of these people.

For thinking and speaking my mind, Scientology declared me
a "Suppressive Person" (SP 6 ^Cumulative Cluster :)
& Expelled me from The Church of $cientology :)
