What's up with Scientology? I went out to Hemet today, and naturally
had to spin by "Golden Era Studios" the Top Secret
International Headquarters in Hemet California. Here's a brief update:
The Golden Era Gold Course seemed to have a few people cruising around
but that's open to public, so probably mostly non-Scios.
The apartments they've been working on forever are looking closer to
completion.
The huge castle/building up on the mountains now has curtains in it, so
someone must now be using it.
The joint was DEAD. I saw about three people inside on the right, and two on
the left. Of course the Guard was jolly on the spot. It uses to be jumpin
with people but Scientology seems to have less and less people in
it (C of S that is).
There was one old man out weeding the gardens, and an elder lady sprinkling.
I couldn't help but think what a shame...what a pathetic life. He no doubt
joined years ago to "Save the Planet'>.and now he's out weeding
the grass. Pity.
I drove by the RPF area just to check things out, and was amazed to see the
Indians have built a HUGE Casino on their Reservation, which was JUMPIN. I
couldn't help wonder if Ray Mittoff and DM where over there. Ha! (Don't
forget the story of the OT 8's on the nude beach and up swam all the Int
Exec's including DM!)
As I drove off, I could only feel a delight that I no longer belonged to
this Secret, Phony group run by Con men who don't give a damn about them.
It was a delightful day, and I enjoyed seeing my friends, two critics :)
