My Birthday, Four Years Later…..

Four years ago, I was still “In” Scientology on my birthday.

I remember it well, and I’ve written about it before. A bunch of Scientologists came over, including Bill Yaude. One of my dear friends then had a Girlfriend who was a Buddhist.

Now get how weird this was: At this time, I had been on ARS, posting as Magoo. I wasn’t posting for OSA….I was just posting, from my dining room. I think in truth I was trying to find my way, but I didn’t really know it then. I was just posting, madly. I made 4,000 post in 4 weeks!

Anyways, back to my party….here I am, secretly in touch with these SP’s, and then having my Birthday party with my friends- all long time Scientologists, many "OT's".

I still was very much “in” within my mind, and was just having a party. However, as the night went on, and all these Scientologists sat around talking about where they were at on the Bridge, who was “PTS”, who was “Downtone”, etc. I couldn't help thinking a bit about *my life* vs the people on the Internet I was speaking to.

I was OT 7-30 year Scn.

The critics were "SP's".

I couldn't really read anything C of S considered "Entheta", they could read whatever they wanted.

I couldn't talk about many things as it would be considered highly out-Ethics.

The SP's could and did talk about anything and everything.

I paid a fortune to 'get free'...yet the Buddhist seemed the most free of all who were there.

Ever since I had gotten onto OT 7 I was seriously upset with the constant labeling of people. Here on my birthday I couldn’t help thinking about it, again. I finally thought, “If I had to pick ONE person here tonight, I would pick the Buddhist”. And I couldn’t help think: And she got there for free!

Last night I had a party with some very big SP’s, and I can say without a doubt, it was a wonderful party! Everything I was thinking 4 years ago, is gone. I’m free from that endless BS labeling, I’m free to think and speak my mind, and tell the truth. I no longer have to hype a cult, a con man named L. Ron Hubbard, or worry about saying anything wrong about C of S, Int, Int Management, DM, the Sea Org, etc. I no longer wake up as I did for 30 years feeling guilty that I wasn’t “Clearing” enough people.

I can now speak freely with any one I want. I know that sounds so silly…but honestly, when one is in C of S, esp. high up………………you cannot. Well, you CAN, but unless you have “An OK”, you will end up in Ethics, or be declared SP yourself.

I couldn’t help but think last night as we all sat together outside in the sweet warm night, that I loved these friends, and I love all of the critics who help each person who wants to get free, and speak out!

There were a few critics at my party, and I find great joy in seeing some X-Scientologists meet critics, esp. the ones (X's) who are not on the Internet, so at first the critics were a new concept to them. Now the group is great, and the stories are absolutely wild!

All were amazed about the Narconon articles and what has happened. Dave T and the gang who helped should make it out here so we can have a party together sometime. There is much to celebrate!

My best wishes and thanks to each person who helps expose this insidious cult, and all who have helped me while waking up, and since I left July 19th, 2000. I cannot ever tell you how much each of you means to me, but to say it’s been dramatic and overwhelmingly helpful is a wild understatement. Thank you! Thank you! Thank YOU!
