Anonymous, Tom Cruise 9 Minute Video And What The Fuss Is All About

If you're new here and wondering what all the fuss is about, here's a brief synopsis, from my opinion.

In the '90's an attorney named Ava Packett tried to Crash this place right here, ARS. I don't know the computer term (sorry) but basically it would bring it all down.

MANY MANY People around the world, not x-Scientologists, but just computer people saw this and went: "WHAT?"

From those I've met, most felt like this, in one form or another:

"I don't really know *anything* about Scientology, but these people (Now X-Scientologists who were talking on ARS) have a right to speak."

This began a huge movement called "The Critic Movement".

Scientology told went against them (the critics) and now more people hopped on board. At the time, I was "in" and told them:"YOU are CREATING your own enemies".

They didn't want to hear it.

Literally people from ALL over the world began looking into Scientology, exposing odd things they do, dangerous things they do, bad things they've done in the past, etc.

Web sites began to be created, as the critics knew computers, pickets got created, information went UP on the Net for all to read, and learn about.

Before this critic movement, it was almost IMPOSSIBLE to meet an "SP" for example. In Scientology, it's do or die, just like Tommy boy says: "Either you're in, or you're out".

SO IF ...let's say.....your Mom (as my Mom) was against Scientology, you as a child are given 2 choices:

1) Handle
2) Disconnect.

Handle means what Hubbard called, "Good Roads, Fair Weather". Where basically you life with your Mom, your *real* communications about anything personal or important are OVER. Now all you talk about are 'good roads, happy times, the weather, etc". Sick, really.

Disconnect is just that. Kids often write their parents a letter telling them: "Since you are opposed to *my religion*----I am officially disconnecting from you". That's it--end of ANY and ALL communications with the kids. BYE!

Ok, so huge amounts of critics grew out of that one action, of Ava Packett.

That was in the '90's. Now it's at least 10 years later and now what does Ava Packett do?

Again orders Tommy Cruise's video to be taken down off the net. See? It's a free speech issue, and many, many people called "Anonymous" decided to take on this fight.

It's a new wave of people. I've told them on the phone and on the Net:

Stay legal. First off, I believe in that.

Secondly, Scientology loves legal issues. They have the attorneys, the PIs, The $$$$ in this area---so don't even try illegal actions. You're set up to lose, every time.

There is *tons* that can be done, to expose the abuses of Scientology. Meet with some of the parents who have lost their kids, make videos about Scientology, both funny, and factual.

Send letters to the IRS--asking about Scientology's IRS status. Dig into it. Per their agreements with the IRS, they were SUPPOSED To give everyone who wanted their money back.

Here I am, and I can think of about 1,000 others I know who also would like theirs, too, if not many more. So what happened there?

Picketing? Do it. And do it legally, and peacefully. Make signs clear, readable, and have a message that challenges the abuses Scientology does. Why can't they read a book? Why is it OK with them that Scientology breaks up families? "WOULD YOU LIKE TO TALK TO YOUR MOM, EVEN IF SHE's AN SP?"

There are *tons* of things you can do --- all legal.

It's a new era....there's lots to do. I wish you all well.
